After the end of the Industrial Trend, large companies were starting to grow in size and power in order to fulfill what looked the countless demands for new goods and services. Because corporations and labor causes grew, there were a need to develop a more systematic study of organization and management, referred to as management theory, the significant being Frederick Taylor's Principles of Scientific Administration which involved the development of schooling workers through special incentives and reimbursement (Boone l. 33). Generally speaking, early managing scientists were known to believe that there was just one way to arrange companies and manage staff. By the beginning of the 20th century, there were preliminary attempts to get launching a systematic and study of supervision; by the fifties, there were multiple books and articles dedicated to organization and management theory. Since then, a number of new paradigms, or designs, concerning worker motivation and employee-employer relationships have aroused influencing the standard principles of modern management theory.

Frederick Herzberg, a master on managing theory, is known best for his motivation-hygiene theory and work in job richness.
